Epping Surgery

The surgery at Epping is the hub of Forest Veterinary Centre. The purpose-built surgery was developed in 1996 to replace the original surgery, which had been in an adjacent building on Hemnall Street.

The award-winning purpose built modern, premises have consulting rooms, operating theatres, separate dog and cat wards, a laboratory and an X-ray room taking digital x-rays. The building also houses the offices where managerial and administrative staff oversees all three branches.

In 2007, the building was extensively extended to provide a designated dental room, a new imaging and diagnostic suite, ultrasounds, arthroscopy and endoscopy, new kennel facilities, a dog exercise run, dedicated instrument preparation and sterilization area and an isolation unit.

Our referral cases and all out-of-hours emergencies are seen at the Epping surgery where we provide 24-hour care for hospitalised patients. A duty nurse stays on site at all times in purpose-built accommodation, and a duty vet is always on call.
